DK Recruitmentare currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing client who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a ShiftEngineer.

The Role
As a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining site performance by ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams and fellow engineers to support operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site services

  • Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and breakdown response

  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times

  • Accurate completion of maintenance records using CMMS systems

  • Assisting with improvement projects and equipment upgrades

Candidate Profile

  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent

  • Mechanical or Electrical bias (multi-skilled highly desirable)

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working shifts and responding to breakdowns

  • Proactive, team-oriented approach
