The Role
As a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining site performance by ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams and fellow engineers to support operational targets.
Key Responsibilities

Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site services

Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and breakdown response

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times

Accurate completion of maintenance records using CMMS systems

Assisting with improvement projects and equipment upgrades
Candidate Profile
-
Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent

Mechanical or Electrical bias (multi-skilled highly desirable)

Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working shifts and responding to breakdowns

Proactive, team-oriented approach
