Architectural Technician
Location: Exeter
Salary: 25-35,000 DOE
A well-established property and design practice with deep roots in the South West is seeking a Graduate to Intermediate Architectural Technician to join its growing architecture team at the Exeter head office. Specialising in small-to-medium scale residential projects, the team works on everything from bespoke new builds to conversions and extensions, offering integrated design and planning services from concept through to completion.

Daily Duties
- Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD for various project stages
- Assist with feasibility studies, site surveys, and design development
- Prepare documentation for planning applications and building regulations
- Collaborate with in-house planning and development specialists
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to coordinate project delivery
- Support design reviews and contribute creative ideas to project solutions
Ideal Candidate
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant project work
- Interest or experience in small-to-medium scale residential projects
- Understanding of UK planning processes and building regulations advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop within a growing design team
