Air & Ocean Freight Coordinator - Exeter

Location: Exeter
Salary: Up to 35,000 + Yearly Performance Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We're working with a well-established logistics and freight forwarding business seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Coordinator to join their growing team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for a freight professional with strong experience in international air and sea freight who enjoys managing shipments end to end within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating air and ocean freight shipments (import and export), ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and timely movement of goods.

  • Managing day-to-day operations, including carrier bookings, liaising with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, and monitoring shipment progress.

  • Preparing and managing all relevant documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, customs entries, and invoicing.

  • Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth end-to-end shipment execution.



Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding (import and export).

  • Strong understanding of international shipping processes and customs procedures.

  • Working knowledge of customs systems such as CDS/CHIEF.
