Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of plant machinery, both on-site and in the workshop. Responsibilities As a Mobile Plant Fitter, your key responsibilities will include: - Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plant machinery, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. - Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. - Responding to breakdowns and providing efficient on-site repairs. - Completing workshop-based repairs and refurbishments as required. - Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports and job sheets. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. - Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following: - Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Engineer, or in a similar mechanical role. - Strong knowledge of plant machinery, including hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines. - Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or plant maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). - Full UK driving license. - Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Day-to-DayYour typical day as a Mobile Plant Fitter will involve: - Traveling to customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance on a variety of plant machinery. - Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. - Performing scheduled servicing and inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently. - Collaborating with the workshop team for larger repairs or refurbishments. - Keeping detailed records of all work completed and communicating updates to customers and management.
