Job Title: Inventory Counter Operative

Location: Exeter

Pay: £13.11ph

Contract: Monday - Friday - 7am to 3pm / 8am to 4pm - Flexible / Temporary - Perm

Our client is seeking a detail - oriented Inventory Counter to join their Warehouse team!

This role is responsible for conducting accurate cycle counts and inventory checks, often at height using a high rise truck - training provided!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a regular cycle count and physical inventory checks across designated Warehouse zones
  • Operative high - rise truck to access inventory stored on upper racking levels to 5 metres
  • Accurately record item counts, part numbers, and discrepancies using handheld scanners or inventory software
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse and inventory teams
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring proper labelling and stock placement
  • Comply with all safety procedures, especially while operating high rise equipment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and teams members about stock issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control role preferred
  • Valid certification / license to operative a high rise truck
  • Comfortable working at heights with proper safety gear
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Basic computer or scanner proficiency for inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift and work in varying warehouse conditions
  • Flexible to work different shifts
  • In house training provided for high rise truck
  • Using hand held scanners
  • Excellent communication and counting skills
