The Company:
Are you an experiencedMultiskilledMaintenanceEngineerorMaintenance Technician? Candidates from either aMechanical orElectrical Maintenance background will be considered as there are two new roles within this busy engineering facility. You will be responsible for the dailymaintenanceandrepair(preventative and emergency) of a wide range ofproduction and engineering machinery. Previous experience in anIndustrial Maintanence Engineeringrole is essential. Various shifts available including: 3 shift, swing shift and possibly a continental shift for highly experiencedMaintenance Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
  • Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies.
  • Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated multiskilled proficiencyin pneumatic/hydraulic systems,fabrication,and welding.
  • Proven competency in reading and interpreting electricalor mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels.
  • Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
  • Resilient,resourceful approach,with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive work ethic,strong initiative,and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.
