Job Title: Project Administrator (Construction Industry)

Location: Exeter

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours, Mon - Fri, Company offers flexible working scheme giving you control over your contract to fulfil your hours within the hours 7am-7pm.

The Role: Our client is seeking an Administrator to join their Bids and Projects team and join their busy, vibrant growing company based in the South West. Working on variety of projects across the region you will be an essential part of the team offering full administrative support across a number of functions within the company. You will have the opportunity to get involved in many areas including Bids, Construction, Renewable Energy, HR and Events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration for the bid portals and manage information flow
  • Liaise internally to contribute to the production of tender documentation
  • Involvement in the procurement process
  • Conduct research on clients, projects, stakeholders, and competitors to assist with the bid process
  • Keep all databases and systems updated ,ensuring compliance and quality throughout the process.
  • Manage team diaries and undertake some PA duties
  • Administration support for the enabling services team
  • Manage communications regarding client tender clarifications and gather required responses
  • Share best practises and continuously assist with improving team performance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Positive, proactive attitude with keen attention to detail
  • Flexibility to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Professional demeanour and effective communication skills at all levels
  • Experience in either the construction, engineering or renewable energy sector desirable but not essential
  • Experience supporting a procurement or bids/tenders process desirable but not essential
