Site Manager
Our client is a well respected and established contractor based in the South West with a wide range of projects throughout Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. These include industrial units, commercial office developments and work for NHS and Local Authorities.
About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. Our portfolio includes:
Industrial unit developments
Commercial office schemes
Projects for the NHS and Local Authorities
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
Manage subcontractors, trades, and site labour to meet programme deadlines.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.
Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, on time and within budget.
Regularly report on progress to senior management.
About You:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of building processes across commercial, industrial, and/or public sector projects.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certification.
A proactive and professional approach with strong communication skills.
