HVAC Service/Validation Engineer | Field-Based (South England Preferred) | Full Time | £40,000 - £44,000 + DOE

They are seeking a HVAC Service/Validation Engineer to join their team.
Are you the right person for the job?
- A full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in validation commissioning, documentation, HVAC systems, general maintenance, door installation, and general panel construction
- Cleanroom Knowledge is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
What will your role look like?
- Proficient in conducting full commissioning and validation activities, including Filter Integrity Testing, Pressure Balancing, and performance testing of separative devices such as Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) and Laminar Airflow (LAF) units
- Experienced in upgrading HVAC systems and associated cleanroom infrastructure, including filter replacements, environmental monitoring systems (EMS), door systems, and cleanroom modifications
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on critical systems, including HVAC units, air compressors, generators, UPS systems, and separative devices (BSCs, LAFs), ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance
- Ensure completion of a detailed sign-off sheet after each job, securing approval and signature from the client before leaving the site to confirm satisfaction and scope closure
- Liaise directly with the Service Manager post-visit to provide a comprehensive, clear, and specific breakdown of works undertaken and any recommended follow-up actions, aiding in the preparation of detailed service reports
- Execute Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols in line with GMP and client standards, including full documentation and traceability, including recording all stages of the commissioning process for new installations, ensuring thorough validation and compliance with project specifications and client requirements
- Install various cleanroom door systems (manual, automated, or airlock-integrated),including systems from Kingspan Precision and Versatile
- Support in the precise installation of cleanroom equipment, furniture, and fittings, ensuring alignment with layout plans, operational workflows, and cleanliness standards
- Maintain company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and mechanical upkeep, ensuring safety, reliability, and brand representation
- Accountable for the maintenance, calibration, and secure storage of all tools and equipment used on-site to ensure operational readiness and prevent loss or misuse
