Class 1 Drivers needed with immediate starts in Exeter.
Pure Staff are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Exeter area.
Pay rate for Class 1 Drivers.
17.84 for the first 45 hours worked between 06:00 and 18:00
20.52 for any hours worked between 18:00 and 22:00
22.30 for any hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
26.76 for any hours after 45 hours worked
35.68 for any shift worked on a bank holiday
if you wanted to go full time they have some fantastic perks also.
Start times between 04:00 and 09:00 starts per day.
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees.
Ad hoc shifts OR various fixed shift patterns available between Monday and Saturday. No shifts on Sunday.

Our client is a large (well-known) company delivering to convenience stores across the UK.
The Class 1 Drivers job itself will consist of multi drop averaging 6 drop per shift to convenience stores across the UK. Shifts averaging 8 to 13 hours per day
This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients personnel have the best experience interaction with the driver as possible.
Class 1 Drivers will require.
- HGV C+E Class 1 Driving licence
- 1 year HGV Class 1 experience is required due to insurance
- CPC Card
- Digital card
- Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD codes).
Additionally, to the pay you will accrue Holiday pay payable with 7 day's notice of booked holiday. You will also be enrolled after 3 months into a pension.
