Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Forklift and Refuse Operatives to join a recycling team in Exeter. This is a hands-on outdoor role working in all weather conditions, sorting recyclable materials, and assisting with general site and yard duties.
Key Duties:
- Collecting already sorted recycle refuse using forklift
- Loading refuse in to sifting and compacting machine using forklift
- Keeping domestic and commercial collection points clean and tidy.
- Assisting in maintaining a tidy local depot at all times.
Requirements:
- Forklift Counterbalance/B1 in date Licence Certificate
- Experience as a recycling operative or in a similar manual role
- Experience of working outdoors
- Physically capable of manual duties and heavy lifting
- Strong Team Work Ethic
- Reliable and able to work flexibly as required.
