Property Maintenance Technician – Full Time, permanent covering Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. This role will involve working 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday with a 30 min lunch break.
The company offers a salary of £34,000pa DOE, along with benefits including 26 days’ holidays + BH as well as a company Van, tablet and phone.
Wise Employment are recruiting a Property Maintenance Technician for our client where you will:
- Undertake a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in new build homes
- Carry out minor external works to dry lining and decorating
- Be prepared to cover Cornwall, Devon & Somerset (travel time is taken into consideration with regards to working hours) and reside within ideally Exeter or North Devon.
- Liaise effectively with customers and our head office to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction
- Deliver work in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records of all work completed
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
We’re looking for someone with:
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- A trade background, such as carpentry, decorating, or general maintenance
- Experience in customer service and/or the housebuilding sector (desirable)
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
- Good IT skills, including basic laptop use
