An established main contractor delivering long-term infrastructure works in the South West is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major water and wastewater framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on essential infrastructure projects with a business that offers long-term security, hybrid working, and strong development opportunities.

The Role:
You'll be part of a dedicated commercial team delivering projects across the clean and wastewater network for a local water provider. Schemes typically include upgrades to pipelines, pumping stations, treatment works, and associated civil engineering works.

The role is based out of Exeter, with hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, administration, and payments
  • Prepare and present cost reports, forecasts, and CVRs
  • Administer change control and early warning processes under NEC contracts
  • Work closely with operational teams to monitor progress and control costs
  • Support the delivery of projects in line with contractual and commercial requirements
  • Assist with final accounts and financial close-out of schemes


Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or utilities, ideally water sector
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Good financial and commercial acumen
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
