?? About the Role:

Adecco is proud to be working in partnership with Dorset Police, recruiting for a Recruitment Officer/Administrator to join the Alliance People Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, supportive, and professional team that delivers key recruitment and workforce planning services to both Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police.

You'll play a key role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, acting as the first point of contact for both internal and external queries, and ensuring all resourcing activities are carried out efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries from candidates and internal stakeholders

  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, Teams, and e-recruitment platforms

  • Provide accurate advice in line with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations

  • Support all stages of the recruitment and selection process, including:

    • Coordinating adverts, shortlisting, interviews, and assessments

    • Preparing contractual documents

    • Liaising with hiring managers and candidates

  • Maintain accurate and secure records in line with data protection regulations

  • Assist in collecting biometric and drug test samples during pre-employment checks

  • Attend and support recruitment and careers events on behalf of Dorset Police

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the production of resourcing data and MI reports
