As Estimator, you'll work across commercial rooftop and utility-scale solar PV projects, ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and commercially sound. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers and procurement teams to deliver first-class bids and proposals. Expect a mix of office-based collaboration, on-site visits, and technical analysis-no two days will be the same.
We're looking for someone who's detail-oriented, commercially aware, and passionate about renewable energy. Whether you're based near Exeter (ideally) or Leeds, you'll bring experience estimating complex solar PV systems and an ability to manage a fast-moving workload. Bonus points if you've got experience with battery storage or energy modelling.
The Role
- Estimate costs for rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems.
- Review plans, specs, and site conditions.
- Work with engineers and PMs on bids and proposals.
- Visit sites to assess project requirements.
- Manage costing tools and supplier quotes.

- Experienced in solar PV estimating.
- Sharp eye for detail and numbers.
- Confident working cross-functionally.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: battery storage or energy modelling experience.
