TeacherActive have an exciting opportunity for a Business Studies Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in Exeter on a part-time, long term basis. The Senior Leadership Team are looking for an experienced Business Studies Teacher with the ability to teach across KS4 / Key Stage 4. You will be accountable for pupils’ attainment, progress and outcomes.

The successful Business Studies Teacher will need to:

• Hold QTS with a Business Studies specialism (ECTs / Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply)
• Have a minimum of 6 months experience within a secondary school setting in the UK
• Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development
• Have high expectations of behaviour, and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
• Establish a safe and stimulating environment for all pupils, rooted in mutual respect
