We're seeking a dedicated support worker to accompany an unique individual living in their own home in Exeter. This person  enjoys a range of activities that bring them happiness, from staying connected with friends and family on social media to going on fun shopping trips and exploring the local area. They're passionate about music and love going on new adventures. To help them make the most of their life and pursue their interests, we're looking for someone who knows Exeter inside out, can drive their car, and holds a full UK driving licence. If you're a local with a passion for supporting others, we'd love to hear from you.

As their supporter, you'll play a vital role in helping them live the life they want. You'll need to be empathetic, understanding, and creative in your approach, with a focus on enriching their experiences and making a real difference to their life. If you have previous experience in a similar role and are passionate about person-centered care, we'd love to hear from you.

What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis that can also be 1:1 at times, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
