Money Advice CaseworkerPermanent, full-time (37 hours per week)£27,235 - £29,833 per annumHome based with visits to customers in the South Devona and Exeter areas, so you will need to be able to travel to the area at short noticeWe are recruiting for someone with experience  of providing money advice to individuals at risk of homelessness. You should have a strong working knowledge of debt solutions and the welfare benefits system.You will be providing support to clients including preparation of accurate financial statements, offering budgeting advice, progression of debt options, advising on court proceedings for debt recovery and repossessions, and income maximisation to ensure take up of benefits and options such as backdating, overpayment and sanction challenges, appeals and representation if required.  you should have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and empower others, and the capacity to simplify complex information for clients.For further information about this role, please contact Specialist Social Housing Recruiter, Mark Grove, on or apply via this site.
