We are currently working on behalf of a client in Exeter, to recruit for a Surveyor on a temporary basis.

Duties of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:

• Undertake detailed stock condition surveys on residential properties, assessing building fabric, components, and services.
• Carry out HHSRS inspections in line with current legislation and guidance, identifying hazards and risk ratings.
• Accurately record survey findings using Pocket Survey on handheld devices
• Produce clear, concise, and well-structured survey reports with photographic evidence where required.
• Identify defects, disrepair, and compliance issues, recommending appropriate remedial works.
• Assess property condition data to support planned maintenance and investment programmes.
• Ensure surveys are completed in accordance with health & safety requirements and organisational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within asset and compliance databases.
• Support colleagues with technical advice related to building condition and housing standards.
  

Requirements of the Surveyor:

• Strong knowledge around HHSRS & Stock Condition
• HNC qualification or equivalent
• Driving licence
