Gap Personnel is working with a great company near Eye in Suffolk who are looking for a reliable and hardworking Process Line Operative to join our team at our egg processing facility on a temporary ongoing basis

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production line, handling eggs with care, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality throughout the process.

Monday to Friday 0800AM to 1600PM

Pay :£12.21 PH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machinery involved in the sorting, grading, and packaging of eggs
  • Inspect eggs for quality, removing any damaged or substandard products
  • Pack eggs into cartons or trays according to customer specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards
  • Always follow health and safety procedures
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
  • Assist with stock rotation and restocking materials as needed
  • Ensure accurate labelling and traceability of products
  • Carry out any additional duties as required by management

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food production or factory environment is preferred but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training will be provided)
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
