I am delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturing business seeking to recruit a Payments Administrator to join their growing team based near Eye in Suffolk in a key role to support the Team Supervisor with day-to-day accounting duties and month end completions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Involvement in the month end accounts process.
  • Processing journals.
  • Completion of financial compliance.
  • Prepare and process invoices.
  • Invoice and goods receipting.
  • Approving / paying suppliers.

Key deliverables are:

  • Maintaining core financial controls.
  • Timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ownership of projects.
  • Ensure the purchase ledger is always tidy and accurate, closed to deadline each month with all key tasks performed to support management which will involve taking ownership as well as supporting key stakeholders within the business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, knowledge of Outlook and Excel, good organisation and time keeping and the ability to work in a team but also use own initiative.

The role would suit an AAT studier or a candidate seeking to study AAT - study support will be offered!
