Finance Director

Keeler Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly respected FMCG manufacturer based in East Suffolk to recruit a Finance Director. This long-established business operates across multiple production facilities and supplies a broad range of products to major retailers and foodservice customers throughout the UK.

This is a key leadership position responsible for providing robust financial control, insightful analysis, and strategic support across all areas of site operations. Reporting to the Site Director, you will play a central role in driving financial performance, maintaining strong governance, and supporting commercial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of site financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery

• Develop and maintain effective financial controls and performance analysis frameworks

• Partner with operational teams to monitor and improve productivity, yield, and cost efficiency

• Manage site budgets, forecasts, and cashflow, aligning with group FP&A requirements

• Oversee capital expenditure proposals and conduct post-implementation reviews

• Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements

Key Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

• Significant senior finance experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced production environment

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels

• Commercially focused with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
