A client of ours in the Debenham, Suffolk area are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying from 24,000 per annum depending on experience.
Assisting with all UK Export shipments, other key duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring Logistics and inbox
- Generating pack lists and commercial invoices to send to customers and freight forwarders
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Requesting Freight quotes for quotations & live orders
- Organising collections of export orders
- Giving customers delivery updates
- Weekly and monthly reports to customers where required
- Overseeing container collections as and when required
- Arranging collection of courier shipments and booking with couriers
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Logistics Coordinator position:
- 2+ years experience within Transport, Logistics distribution and Supply chain.
- Experience in using Sage 200 is desirable
- GCSE grade C (4) or above in Maths and English Language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised
