CNC Machine Shop Supervisor
Location: Eye, Suffolk
Salary: 17.00 per hour

We're working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Eye, Suffolk, who are looking to appoint an experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of their busy machine shop.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys ensuring that production runs efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the CNC machine shop
  • Program, set, and operate multi-axis machining centres
  • Perform complex tool setups and manual component inspections
  • Ensure work is completed in line with technical drawings and quality standards
  • Carry out both milling and turning operations to a high level
  • Manage workflow and prioritise tasks to meet delivery schedules and business requirements

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a CNC supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong background in CNC programming, setting, and operating (Fanuc controls; G & M code)
  • Proficient with manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills
