Social Worker

Opus people solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Children in Need team.

Job Title: Social Worker - Children In Need
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37 hours
Hourly rate: 35- 39
Location: Lowesoft
Remote/Office based: Hybrid - x3 days a week in the office

Responsibilities:

• S17 assessments - Children in Need assessments under the Children Act 1989.

• S47 assessments - Child Protection enquiries

• CIN planning - Managing and reviewing Children in Need plans.

• CP planning - Working on Child Protection Plans, including attending case conferences and core group meetings.
