We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and leading company based in Eye, Suffolk specialising in high quality metal products, components and precision sheet metal fabrications to various sectors of the UK Industry. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ several TIG Welders/Fabricators to join their term and be parts of its expansion needs in 2025 and beyond.
This is a permanent role.
Competitive salary offered depending on experience and skills.
Working with in teams of 3 – 5 staff.
Hours usually 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday however, some flexibility can be considered.
The roles that we are looking to fulfil and duties to include:
Tig Welder
Experienced Tig Welder/Fabricator (Tungsten inert Gas)
To perform Tig welding practices with Stainless steel and aluminium.
Must have a proven Tig welding experience.
Able to finish work to a high standard.
Attention to detail is Essential
Must be able to read and understand engineering welding drawings
Able to work on our own or with the team
Metal Finisher
Experienced metal finisher required with a background in finishing and polishing stainless steel fabrications.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment with manual processes.
Ability to work on your own or with the team.
Metal Polisher/fettler/polisher
High quality polishing fettling graining and re-graining of stainless-steel panels.
Key role in ensuring that all metal finishing activities are carried out to the highest standard
Summary
As part of the team you will work on all fabrication elements that will be required to be fulfilled through the department, from multiple single different panels to batch numbers. The job will be extremely varied from one day to the next.
