About the Role:
As Reception Supervisor, you will lead the front desk team, ensuring every guest is greeted with professionalism and warmth from arrival to departure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and concierge services
- Coaching and supporting reception staff to consistently deliver excellent service
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues calmly and efficiently
- Training and mentoring team members, leading daily briefings
- Managing billing accuracy and guest folio administration
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are met
- Maintaining an inviting, well-organized reception area
- Managing shift handovers and facilitating clear communication between teams
- Supporting the Operations Manager with administrative tasks, rostering, and performance reviews
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead by example in a role that combines guest interaction with team leadership and operational management.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality reception role, ideally with supervisory experience
- Confidence using hotel management systems such as OPERA, Cloudbeds, or Guestline
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- A positive, team-focused attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
- Brand experience is a plus but not essential
