Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity in the Fakenham area?

Our client, a well-established engineering business, is looking to add a skilled Machinery Fitter to their workshop team. You'll be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining a range of mechanical systems and equipment - playing a key part in the delivery of high-quality engineered solutions.

Role Overview:

• Assemble, fit and test mechanical components and machinery
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and engineering drawings
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs
• Support project builds and assist with occasional customer installations
• Ensure work meets required quality and health & safety standards

Required Skills:

• Previous experience as a Machinery Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or similar
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, moving assemblies - wiring experience a bonus
• Practical problem solver with good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Relevant vocational or engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
