Welder / Fabricator
Contract Personnel are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join the growing team at a well established engineering company, who specialise in the manufacture of bespoke architectural fabrications and structural steelwork delivering high-quality, tailored solutions to their clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a fabricator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship to be part of a supportive and experienced team.
Responsibilities:

Carrying out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard (MMA experience desirable).

Fabricating a wide variety of components from different materials, including stainless steel and mild steel.

Reading, interpreting, and working from detailed engineering drawings.

Working on bespoke one-off projects as well as repeat production items.

Using a range of fabrication processes (cutting, drilling, grinding, finishing, assembly).

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with company standards.

Collaborating with a small, dedicated team to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Required skills/experience:

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a workshop environment.

Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (MMA advantageous).

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Skilled in a variety of fabrication techniques.

High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

A reliable, team-focused individual with good problem-solving skills.

Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm
39 hours per week (unlimited over time available paid at time and a half)
Pay £17.50 per hour
