Audit Senior – Falkirk Area

Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing Chartered Accountancy firm in the Falkirk area with the appointment of an Audit Senior.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join a forward-thinking firm that offers career progression, variety of work, and a supportive culture that prioritises employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audits from planning through to completion
  • Prepare and review accounts across a broad client base (Ltd Companies, Charities, Partnerships, LLPs, Sole Traders) - TRAINING PROVIDED
  • Support corporate and personal tax compliance
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members
  • Build strong client relationships and provide technical guidance
  • Work within set budgets and deadlines

Candidate Profile

  • ICAS, ACCA, ACA qualified – or actively studying towards qualification
  • Previous experience in audit within professional practice
  • Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with accounting/audit software (e.g. Sage, IRIS, CCH, Excel) beneficial
