We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer who can provide expert advice and support in the Industrial/Oil & Gas sector. This role is based in Grangemouth and requires a candidate who is experience in Electrical Engineering within a COMAH site background.

Our client is a large organisation in the Industrial / Oil&Gas sector. Based in Grangemouth, they pride themselves in providing innovative solutions and maintaining high standards of professionalism in the Engineering department.

Description

  • Responsible for maintaining the asset and protective systems integrity
  • Electrical Engineering focal point for the site, day to day operations, breakdowns, Turnaround (TAR) and site Outage events.
  • Identify, define and develop work packages relevant to Electrical Engineering discipline, serving as single point of accountability for identified scopes.
  • In line with above, deliver improvements in plant reliability and defect elimination.
  • Support the maintenance team leader with the implementation of planned maintenance routines.
  • Manage works performed on site by designated Electrical contractors
  • Ensure all designs, maintenance, modifications and upgrades delivered comply with the clients and International Industry standards
  • Maintain professional development in the field of Electrical Engineering

Profile

路 Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

路 Chartered Engineer or actively working to achieve chartered status

路 At least 5 years of technical experience in a technical role (discipline engineering, maintenance management) in Oil and Gas Upstream, Midstream or Downstream environments.

路 Knowledge and experience of electrical equipment used in explosive atmospheres and in relevant legislation such as ATEX (COMPEX EX01-04, EX12, EX14) and DSEAR.

路 Knowledge and experience of the design, operation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical power systems.

路 Knowledge and experience in the operation & commissioning of UPS systems (AC & DC).

路 Comprehensive understanding and applied knowledge of relevant UK Regulatory and industry standards.

路 Experience of using Power System modeling & design software (ETAP / Trimble, etc).

路 BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.

路 Full UK driving license.
