Description
- Oversee and maintain high voltage electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety.
- The HV engineer will have the authority to operate the electrical distribution to ensure continuous supply to the site customers.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues proactively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for high voltage equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.
- Provide technical support during troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.
Profile
The role holder will be time served and have an indentured apprenticeship or will have a minimum of an HNC / SVQ in discipline engineering.
The role holder will have a minimum of an HND / HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
The role holder must have experience in High Voltage switching operations and have operated as a Senior Authorised Person.
Ideally you will come from an industrial sector background
