The Role
The Accountant role will report to the Head of Finance, and is a varied role with the key components including:
- Preparation of monthly reporting packs & management accounts
- Preparation of annual accounts & audit including liaising with External Auditors
- Financial analysis - P&L, variances, KPI’s, cash management & forecasting
- Management of intercompany, fixed asset and balance sheet transactions
- Assisting with taxation & VAT returns
- Ensuring robust month & year-end close
- Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

The position of Accountant is based close to Falkirk with strong hybrid working. The position will offer:
- £50,000 FTE base salary
- 4 day per week permanent part-time contract

Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage with qualified Accountants that can demonstrate a strong balance of financial and management accounting within a medium sized business. Although the preference is for a qualified Accountant, part qualified/finalist or qualified by experience will be consider.
