Escape Recruitment is working with a leading e-commerce/distribution business to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to lead end-to-end operations, ensuring the right balance of cost, supply and efficiency across Supply & Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead Supply & Demand Planning, translating forecasts into accurate supply plans and driving S&OP processes.
- Manage Procurement, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best cost, quality and lead times, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Optimise Inventory Management, maintaining ideal stock levels to balance service and cost while reducing waste.
- Oversee Logistics & Distribution, ensuring timely, cost-efficient delivery and managing transportation providers.
- Leverage ERP systems to drive process improvements, real-time visibility and data-driven decision-making.
- Track KPIs, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with safety, trade and regulatory requirements.
Experience & Knowledge for the role:
- Significant experience in end-to-end supply chain management.
- Understanding of complex Global Supply Chains.
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in developing successful teams.
- Demonstrable experience in ERP systems and process optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on team player who rolls up their sleeves to drive success for colleagues and the business
