Cornish seafood specialities are served in its AA Rosette restaurant. The restaurant serves 4-course dinners using fresh local produce, and local musicians play every evening. The conservatory is a less formal option.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients, cooking, and presenting dishes within their specialty.

Kitchen Management: Managing a specific section of the kitchen, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.

Teamwork: Collaborating with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control: Ensuring high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

Supervision: Training and supervising junior chefs or commis.

Menu Planning: Assisting in menu development and creation.

Essential criteria: You will have experience of:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in a commercial kitchen
  • Culinary Education: Degree or diploma in culinary arts (beneficial)
