We are currently looking for reliable HGV 2 drivers for an exciting temp-perm position in Peterborough!

HGV Class 2 Driver Responsibilities:

- Carry out daily walk-around checks of the vehicle, raising defects where appropriate.

- Inspect load safety before leaving the depot/request for items to be reloaded if necessary to avoid unnecessary damage

- Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law and company policies at all times and be respectful of other road users.

- Check goods off with delivery sites and obtain signature and print.

- Understand tachographs and drivers hours regulations and comply with them at all times

- Report any accidents as soon as possible in line with the company accident procedure.

- Attend essential training when required

- Nights out may be required in line with the needs of the business

- Provide excellent customer service

- Maintain the cleanliness of the cab

- Assist with yard or other ad-hoc duties in line with the needs of the business

- Working Monday to Friday your roles will include multi drop and full load deliveries running out of our depot in Swindon SN2 depot.

- There may be the occasional night out if required.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

- Cat C licence (1 year experience required)

- ADR Class 9 (preferred not essential as training can be provided)
