Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing 400-500 supplier invoices each month
  • Raising accurate customer invoices and staying on top of billing cycles
  • Managing credit control, chasing debt via phone and email
  • Handling staff expenses, fuel card reconciliations and mileage logs
  • Supporting VAT returns and assisting with month-end duties
  • Liaising with external accountants for stat accounts, with the potential to bring payroll in-house
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller / Ledger Clerk / Assistant Accountant / Accountant / Finance Manager
  • Confidence with Xero and Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables essential)
  • A problem-solver’s approach – someone who spots issues and takes ownership to resolve them
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working independently
