We are pleased to be partnering with a growing SME, based in Whiteley, in their search for an Assistant Accountant to support the wider finance team. This role is initially for a 3-month temporary assignment but has the possibility to extend.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong transactional finance background, and be able to work across a range of teams. Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all AR Invoices and Credits are raised by transaction team and reconciled
- Preparing and providing accurate management information around cash collection
- Resolve any Customer Queries on Invoices
- Ensure that all AP invoices are processed and any queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of the AP Ledger
- Ensure Ledgers are closed on a timely basis and reconcile to the Balance Sheet
About you:
- Experience / understanding of Credit Control & Sales Ledger
- Ideally have experience of working in Purchase Ledger
- Have working knowing of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems
- Proactive approach
