Assistant Financial Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Fareham, Hampshire, on a temporary basis. This assignment will last c3-4 months to cover internal absence. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual that will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving commercial environment.

What will the Assistant Financial Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of VAT and HMRC returns
• Monitoring of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with transactional duties
• Aiding in improving current processes

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Part qualified or qualified is preferred but not essential (i.e. AAT)
• A solid background in finance with experience of running the accounts to trial balance stage
• Available to work in a small finance team and occasionally in a stand alone capacity
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
