Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quality Engineer job in Portsmouth:

Ensure proper flow-down of customer requirements to production and test operations.

Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions to drive yield improvement and reduce quality escapes.

Support the deployment of the ERP system to accurately capture process requirements on production routers.

Conduct process audits and complete FAIR reports in line with AS9102 standards.

Compile customer data packs as needed and support quality software system utilisation.
Required Experience and Skills for the Senior Quality Engineer job in Portsmouth:

5+ years of technical experience in a Manufacturing Quality or similar environment.

Background in aerospace, defence, microelectronics, or other regulated industries preferred.

Familiarity with AS9100 and MIL-Specs/Standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, practical approach.
Desirable Skills and Experience:

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).

Experience working in an electronics manufacturing facility.
