Wild Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our well established client in their search for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their production team. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality goods. This role suits someone with a hands-on approach, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks using measuring tools
Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Try to minimise waste on materials
Follow health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues
Requirements
Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read technical drawings
Familiarity with measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required
