Our client based in the Fareham are is looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator to operate a carbon filament winding machine for yacht and dinghy spars.

Hours:

  • Mon – Thu 38 hours (4 day week)  Start time 6.00am finish time 4.00pm

Key Responsibilities:              

  • Assist with material preparation, Autoclave works & spar extraction
  • Ensure work is to specification (BOM) and to quality / process standard (PHB)
  • Responsible for quality of items leaving workstation, seek methods for improvement
  • Deliver to weekly production plan
  • Maintain tidy working environment and equipment
  • Ensure stock accuracy
  • Ensure paperwork is completed and signed and then return to Supervisor for processing. Ensure job pack is collected, completed, and passed on with each job.

  • Basic knowledge of composite materials & manufacture
