The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Fareham for Class 2 Skip Drivers for a full time ongoing position.
The role will include but not restricted to:
- Delivery and Collections of Skips across the south coast tipping at various sites throughout your day.
- Vehicle checks before and after shift
- Ensuring communication with the office for collections and tipping of skipsÂ
The Class 2 Skip Driver will be required to have:
- Class 2 Licence
- CPC/Digi card
- No previous skip experience required but willing to learn
- Required to do one day of online training prior to working
Days and Hours of work:
- 0600/0630 starts
- Min 10 hours per day paidÂ
- Overtime at time and half after 10 hours work
- Monday to Friday standard with every other Saturday once permanent to work around 5 hours.
Pay Rates:
- Annual starting salary of £38k pa (hourly rate, attendance bonus and 2.5hrs per week average overtime)
- More overtime is available especially in peak
- Any work completed on a Saturday will be paid at the overtime time and half rate.
