We are recruiting an experienced and driven Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking organisation within the product-led sales environment. The role will be offices based in Fareham. About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will report to the Sales Director and take ownership of delivering sales strategies that align with company objectives. You will manage, coach, and develop a motivated sales team, ensuring high performance through clear KPIs, regular reviews, and a focus on continuous improvement. This hands-on role requires someone with a proven track record of driving sales, managing people, and fostering a positive, accountable team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed agreed targets through structured coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Drive accountability and build a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration, development, and results.
  • Execute sales strategies set by the senior leadership team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to develop and deliver effective campaigns and product launches.
  • Oversee team and individual sales performance, addressing gaps proactively through insights and interventions.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with full product knowledge, ready for new launches and campaigns.
  • Develop strategies for re-sellers and drive new business generation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record of managing mid-to-large sales teams and delivering against targets.
  • Strong background in a product-led sales environment, with experience in driving KPIs and structured 1:1 coaching.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, with excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends and sales data.
  • Skilled in P&L accountability, commercial negotiations, and revenue forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and high-value accounts (£100K-£500K+).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a hands-on and adaptable approach to leadership.

Benefits
