Job Specification: Panel Wirer
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical control panel wiring, assembly, and component installation, working from a variety of technical drawings. This role requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical control panel wiring to required standards.
Read, interpret, and work from schematic drawings.
Work from additional technical documentation including GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and build instructions.
Carry out mechanical assembly and construction of control panels.
Fit and install components, including wire preparation and terminations.
Confident use of hand tools relevant to the role.
Perform soldering work as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or similar electrical assembly role.
Strong understanding of electrical wiring practices and panel build processes.
Ability to follow technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy.
Competence in mechanical assembly, component fitting, and soldering.
Excellent attention to detail.
