Description

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Provide professional advice to clients on accounting and finance-related matters.
  • Supervise and support junior team members in their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Report on portfolio performance and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.

Profile

A successful Portfolio Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Previous experience managing client portfolios within the business services industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confidence in supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car (transport) due to location of offices.
