A fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, well-established company in Fareham, overseeing all aspects of Accounts. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to external accountants
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance to financial regulations and safeguarding of assets
- Leading annual audit processes, liaising with external auditors and addressing any findings
- Managing a small team of direct reports, providing support, answering queries and offering expertise
- Presenting timely and accurate financial records to management
- Use of Excel & Sage software
The company are looking for someone to work circa 1-2 full days per week, however there may be potential to spread the hours over 3 shorter days if required. They are ideally looking for someone with either a degree in Finance / Accounting etc, or someone who has studied ACA / CIMA or similar. You will need experience working at a similar level.
