We’re looking for a Junior SHEQ Advisor/Assistant to join a leading UK manufacturer at an exciting time of growth. You’ll join the experienced SHEQ team, supporting compliance across multiple sites including Segensworth, Portsmouth and Basingstoke. Your role will focus on ensuring safe working practices, maintaining ISO standards (9001, 14001 and 45001), conducting risk assessments, managing training records, and assisting with audits and improvement projects.

Working closely with management teams, you’ll play an active role in developing procedures, supporting staff inductions, and helping to drive a proactive health, safety and quality culture across the business.

What do you need?
  • A degree in Quality, EHS, SHEQ, or Business Management, or relevant experience

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate

  • Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 is an advantage

The details:
  • Location: Segensworth / Portsmouth / Basingstoke

  • Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

  • Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible start (07:30–17:00) with half-day Fridays (07:30–12:00)
