- The role is for a part-time Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager, requiring 2-3 days of work per week.

- The position offers flexible working hours from 8 am to 4 pm, subject to agreement, and is commutable from various locations including Fareham and Southampton.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and fostering a safe and healthy workplace.
Salary: £50,000 to £52,000 per annum (pro-rata) plus Bonus, Private Health, Life Assurance, 10% Pension (combined), small gym on-site and much more!
Hours: 8am till 4pm, (flexible working hours, subject to agreement, over 2/3 days per week)
Location: Commutable from Fareham, Southampton, Portsmouth, Portchester, Havant, Gosport, Titchfield, and surrounding areas

We are recruiting for a reputable Manufacturer who are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Manager (HSE) to join them on a permanent and part time basis for 2-3 days per week. The days and times start/finish are flexible and subject to agreement. The role brings challenges and opportunities to bring change and improvements, all the while bringing a sense of accomplishment and appreciation and rewards!
Responsibilities
To manage, advise & facilitate the Health, Safety, Environmental function & EH&S management systems.The role requires full understanding of current H & S, environmental legislation, the ability & interpersonal skills to translate this knowledge into creating a safe & healthy operationally compliant workplace. Compliance with EH&S Legislation, appropriate environmental consideration & reporting.
Requirements
Experience of health, safety and environmental, ideally gained in a relevant and factory high volume manufacturing environment - although different environments and industries will be acceptable, considered and are encouraged to apply.
ANY standards experience including 14001
Working knowledge of current legislation: Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH etc.
NEBOSH cert
Good computer and documentation skills
Clear communication skills to mentor and shape the department and future of the site
