About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining classroom support, lunchtime supervision, and small group wellbeing interventions. If you are passionate about helping children learn and thrive, this Teaching Assistant position is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in reading, maths, and classroom activities as a Teaching Assistant.
- Deliver small group wellbeing interventions as a Teaching Assistant in the afternoons.
- As a Teaching Assistant you will supervise lunchtimes, encouraging positive play and healthy eating.
- As a teaching Assistant you will provide feedback to teachers and maintain accurate observations of pupil progress.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children (school experience preferred).
- Caring, calm, and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
- As a teaching Assistant you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English and Maths skills.
- Excellent behaviour management and understanding of safeguarding.
